Art by Nancy Gene Armstrong
Nancy's artwork is an wonderful combination of
scrap paper and stamps. Now even the smallest scrap can have amazing art
potential.
Nancy's artwork is featured in the new
publication by Somerset Studio, titled " Transparent Art". It is
available on the Book Page of my online catalog.

Stamps Used:
- 57008 G Piero della Francesca face
I love the effect of the cut out
face and the negative space created by moving the face 1/2" back.

Stamps Used:
-
44004 E Car
- 44011 F Man with top hat
- 56003 G Victorian House
The bold yellow of the scene with the man
with the top hat really pull your eyes to the center.

Stamps Used:
The red starts above the swan rider stamped image are metallic foil
stickers, Sorry metallics don't scan well. The piece of light blue sky
adds amazing interest to the piece.

Stamps Used:
-
33001 G Shoe
- 34001 H Miller shoes
- 57006 G Victorian woman's face
The scan didn't do justice to Nancy's
coloring of the Victorian woman's face. The touch of blue-gray along
the top is a perfect compliment to the peach of the face. (Remember blue
and orange are complimentary colors.)

Stamps Used:
-
33001 G Shoe
- 34001 H Miller shoes
- 57008 G Piero della Francesca face
This is another example of Nancy's use of
complementary colors, red and green this time. But the pale muted
tones look so very victorian.
