Pictures of Leonardo "Leo"

In October 2007 I decided to start competing. Leo was just 4. We had been training for just of fun for 3 years. This is a picture of Leo and I running one of our first courses.
This picture was taken in January 2008. These were some of our first ribbons. We are competing in CPE (there are several organizations that hold agility trials such as AKC and USDAA). The big rosettes are for qualifying. The placement ribbons are smaller. In agility qualifying is more important than winning.

A photographer takes pictures of the dogs while they running the courses. This picture looks a bit black and white as we were in an indoor arena.

This picture was taken in May 2008. Leo likes to run with his tongue hanging out.

At this time I knew I was serious about trialing.  But I need some competition level skills.  So in May we also started training with top trainer in the country who happened to be just 20 miles away.

It's still all just for fun though.  If Leo and I weren't having fun we wouldn't be doing it.

Here is a video of Leo and me at a trial in September 2008.  The high was 103F that day so we were all moving a bit slower than normal.
